A young father, whose soldier wife has just been killed in Iraq, must deal with the lose while staying strong & caring to their daughters. Rather than tell their two daughters the news, he decides to take them on a cross-country road trip to an amusement park. The story, inspired by a similar trip the film's director James C. Strouse made with his older brother & his two children several years ago, might just by the film that changes John Cusak into a true adult star capable of serious material.
