The Band of Brothers miniseries is based on the book of the same title written by historian & biographer Stephen Ambrose detailing, if at times with exaggerating or condensed, re-tellings of the real-life exploits of Easy Company during the Second World War over the course of ten episodes, starting with their jump training at the Currahee training site in Toccoa, Georgia & ending with the capitulation of Germany showcasing such battles as the Siege of Bastogne & Operation Market Garden. The experiences of Major Richard Winters are a primary focus, as he attempts to keep his men together & safe.Grade: A +
