Apple News (What to Know)

I've added many things I think you all would like or be interested here and it's about that time AGAIN. Apple came out swinging today, with three entirely new iPod models, a color refresh of the shuffle, the launch of the iTunes WiFi Music Store, iPhone ringtones and a price cut... and a partnership with "Starbucks".

(Update) - Apple has dropped the entry level iPhone to $200 by killing the 4GB iPhone, which is currently at $299 while supplies last. News of a European 3G iPhone with 16GB of NAND flash memory is expected to be dropped September 25th at the Apple Expo. This model is expected to take the coveted "consumer accepted" $599 price point. Still a lot if you ask me but, ok. Anyhow this model will drop the 8GB model to the pushed out 4GB iPhone's range $299 price point. I guess that can make this beautiful gadget a bit more tolerable while rolling with Bellsouth/the new AT&T which isn't.
