Welcome to the Melbourne underworld, where tensions are building between dangerous criminals & equally dangerous police. The Wild West played out on the city's streets. One senior cop, Nathan Leckie, must lure the cousin & youngest member of a criminal family, J, into the police fold to then shepherd him through a complex minefield of witness protection, corrupt cops, slippery lawyers & a paranoid vengeful underworld. J comes to realize that in order to survive he must determine how the game is played - he must somehow choose his place in this cunning and brutal animal kingdom.
